“STAGEONE SOUND, a specialist sound post-production facility for the movie and television industry, was designed to achieve the ‘Dolby Premier’ standard of acoustic accreditation, one of only eight facilities in the world to do so.

As an antidote to the long hours of work spent in dark technical rooms, glazed infills were inserted into existing roller-shutter openings, flooding the front of house with daylight.  Lighting levels diminish further into the technical spaces.

The technical/industrial nature of film making is reflected in such elements as the ‘internal avenue’, created using exposed steel beams and posts, reminiscent of an empty industrial street at night.”
